This post is more of a 'documentation' of the day when I actually got down to drawing the outline for writing my book. Yes, my book. Even if no one publishes it, technically it will still be a book. Those on my facebook would recall that being one of my 2010 resolutions - to start working on writing my book. Even if I write just 1 page, that qualifies as a fulfilled resolution. Since there is no monetary incentive, I guess I would do a better job than that. ;)
Writing, like singing, can be meditative..if one is into it. Hope the process of writing the book is more like hiking in the bay area and NOT like running long distance (which can be fun, but in instalments).
Why am I writing about this, you ask? Well, as a way of reminding myself that I need to finish it in a reasonable time (few years, and not decades ) And no, I am not revealing the details just yet. Needless to say, it won't be my story - hardly any spice there. It will be a cocktail and convergence of several different quasi-fictitious and interesting experiences - some deep, some playful, some humbling, and some WTF. Hopefully all weaved together seamlessly.
The first step has been taken. Will the last one be equally exciting? Time will tell.
