This might enter my personal record books. The weirdest-1st-convo-turned-friendship with a girl (happened sometime in spring, 2006)
here is how it went:
Me: Hi
She: Bye
Me: Why?
She: Dont try.
Me: Bheja fry!
She: Dont cry.
Me: Semi (in american english semi is pronounced as semaaai)
She: Semi?
Me: bye. you are boring.
She: hey why did you break the rhyming..
This eventually led to a nice fraaandship.
No, I didnt say "semi" just to keep the rhyme ON. Given the context, can anyone guess what does "semi" mean here? Should be easy.
Update: this was a facebook event. My facebook debut started with the above mentioned weirdness. I was randomly searching for a friend but ended up bumping into this 'semi'.

ok i ll give out my rationale. In Bihar/Jharkhand, someone who is not sane is called "half-mind". Needless to say, half-mind wont be a decent thing to say..so instead I just said "semi" - refering to semi-baked brain ;) And it rhymed too. So there.
