67% of Egyptian men admit to having sexually harassed women, according to this report. And in the same survey, 98% of foreign women visiting Egypt have said they have been harassed sexually in some form.
What is shocking to me is this one line:
"Out of Egyptian women and men interviewed, most believe that women who wear tight clothes deserve to be harassed," the survey said."
Deserve?! Wow. Reminds me of Shiv Sena.
I wonder what would happen if 'getting sexually aroused' by women's dress/body/whatever became a legally acceptable excuse to commit such acts. It wont be too uncommon for lechers to grab-n-kiss-n-molest random girls and go: "its not my fault. Its your lips that enticed me. Cover them."
A cocktail of opinions..
